Reiki Master

Hi, my name is Kathy and I am a certified Reiki Master Teacher and director of Reiki Healing Path. I am located in London, Canada.

I met my Reiki Master in 2001 and decided to be attuned to the Usui Reiki energy. I started practicing Reiki on family, friends and after seeing the positive responses I knew this was something that would be beneficial to others. I began to see positive changes in my life. Over time old habits, beliefs, values and patterns were slowly leaving and replaced with new improved one's. Reiki is now a big part of my life, and a way of life that is constantly moving me forward along my path. I find Reiki an important tool for raising consciousness and taking responsibility for our own healing. I do Reiki healing treatments on myself daily, as well as family and friends. I felt that nudge to move on to the Reiki Master/Teacher level which I received certification for so that I may pass along Reiki attunements and support other's who are interested in joining the Reiki Healing Path.

I have received Level 1 in Therapeutic Touch, enhancing my energy work and also completed Karuna Ki Reiki Master level , Lightarian Reiki, Lavender Flame Reiki and many other forms of Reiki which I have felt guided to take.

Community Involvement:

Hospice of London's Complimentary Therapy group giving Reiki treatments to those who are terminally ill.
Member of the Global Reiki Association
Member of the Distant Healing Network, sending distant Reiki healing treatments.
Volunteering Reiki at a local nursing home and palliative care unit.

You too can become a Reiki Master. The Reiki Master level is available to all who wish to work and teach Reiki. I believe the readiness of one to take the Reiki Master course is one of personal choice. Your heart will always guide you to your correct path.

To become a Reiki Master you must complete Level 1 & 2 Reiki which provide the foundation on which the Reiki Master course is built.

The Master level of Reiki is attained the same way as the other levels of Reiki, by attunement. You can receive your Reiki attunement initiating you either distantly or in person (I find both work equally well).

Some practitioners take the Reiki Master level to round out their education and not to teach, which is perfectly fine. One may not feel ready to teach Reiki right away.

Taking the Reiki Master course gives you the knowledge and skills to help heal yourself and others, as well as assist in your spiritual growth and development. Its a step along the way on your own healing path.
