Celestial Trends for April 2010

April Overview

Mercury moves into Taurus on April 2nd, Pluto turns retrograde on April 6th at 5 Capricorn, and Saturn rolls back into auditing Virgo on April 7th, setting the stage for April's events including April's Mercury retrograde. Mercury turns retrograde at 12 Taurus late on April 17th, which brings the focus to the value-oriented sign of Taurus. We are called to focus on the inner qualities that we have as the foundation of our Self-value. These values prompt our perspective, our motives, our actions and our desires. We will begin to review our inner core self along with our inner values that prompt our response to situations as our perspective and motives are churned into actions.

Mercury retrograde also impacts finances, as finances are the outer connection we have to use as purchasing to satisfy our inner values. This becomes the mirror to view our value, as finances can sometimes become the avenue to give ourselves value. But requiring an outer essence to fill our inner void is only the cardboard cutout to achieve inner depth.

Mercury retrogrades from 12 Taurus back to 2 Taurus, turning direct on May 11th. This retrograde prompts a variety of responses to situations as many events seems to take us up and down and all around to determine our inner response to outer situations to show the inner stability and true essence of Self.

Saturn and Uranus connect to the exact degree on April 26th, which creates the showing of many financial institutions (and people) in the outer world as to their true perspective and motives prompting actions. This outer showing takes precedence in the need to reform the process to keep finances from being the elements to fill the inner void in attempts to achieve inner depth and value.

The previous aspects of Saturn opposition to Uranus have been a very revealing series, as Saturn in Virgo requires accountability under the scrutiny of audits. Uranus provides the long leash of freedom that ultimately gets all caught up in a trail of irresponsibility and shows the lack of discipline and doing the right thing. The series of the Saturn / Uranus aspects began in November 2008, February 2009, September 2009 and April 2010. The events that began in November 2008 were revealed as economic situations exploded into view.

Saturn retrograding back into auditing Virgo at 28�, creates an exact opposition to Uranus at 28� Pisces. This creates an intensity that also triggers an additional view with Jupiter's unveiling process. Important reforms will be called into action as additional situations come into view. The Full Moon on April 28th highlights the Taurus/Scorpio issues that rule inner and outer values with the inner motives showing themselves in the desire to fill inner voids with outer values. Also Sun connects to Mercury retrograde bringing elements of discussions, decisions and communications into the process. Ultimately highlight the essence of this Mercury retrograde.

March 28th through April 3rd
This week, March 28th through April 3rd, we have a Full Moon late Monday evening that connects the Sun at 9 Aries and Moon at 9 Libra. This high tide brings new information onto our shore, dotting the landscape with specific issues surrounding the Self and the impact of the Self on relationship with others. The spotlight brings a high tide of emotions to create strong feelings that set us into the week. We attempt to find the resolutions needed as Libra emphasizes fairness, equality and justice, as the response to the Aries alignment of the inner essence. Thursday we move into the new month of April, emphasizing the balance between the inner and outer self. April is universally a SEVEN* month (*in numerology terms) and shifts our focus to look at the inner essence of our true self. SEVEN requires we take a deeper look at the inner qualities that we have and the focus of our motives for actions. This becomes a very important month because we have to come face to face with some very important issues. Aries is the Self that is the engine that sparks our actions, desires and motivates our goals and aspirations. Who are we, what are we here to accomplish and what feeds the Self. The fact that Mercury turns retrograde in the middle of April emphasizes that this inner discussion plays a very important part in choosing our actions, directions and goals.

April 4th through April 10th
This week, April 4th through April 10th, begins with a strong emphasis on bringing contracts, pacts, treaties and agreements. Pluto turns retrograde on Tuesday evening, which prompts us to review the power issues associated with business, government and financial industries. Pluto will be retrograde from April 6th through September 13th. We will be able to see many of the power issues coming forward as important elements of during this Mercury Retrograde. Wednesday Saturn moves from Libra to auditing Virgo. Saturn moving back into Virgo shifts focus to look at issues of accountability, especially as Pluto just turned retrograde to signal these power issues as being key factors. Meetings of this sort occur on Wednesday and Thursday and ultimately provide the fodder to put additional stepping stones in place that address deeper levels of accountability.

April 11th through April 17th
This week, April 11th through April 17th, begins with Moon blasting into fiery Aries, setting the pace for the week. Aries is very innovative and becomes the renegade often, following a unique path. With the energy of this beginning, we will be very receptive of thinking outside the box and looking at different situations that open new and different doors of opportunity. Wednesday the New Moon opens these doors to ensure we take advantage of these new directions. The New Moon is at 24 Aries, bringing in a great deal of spontaneity and pushing us to move into these new directions. Aries is known as the sign that begins and starts new trends and provides the unique and expressive qualities, directions and pursuits. We will find that we are caught up in the energy of the time and we are jumping into directions that we hadn't considered before. We will be ready to make these directions into a step-by-step process and bring new organized efforts into the environment. This practical approach has many positive options and you will see that the practical side of life opens up for these new directions. Mercury can only get so far ahead before it discovers that we need to wait for time and situations to catch up to us. Mercury turns retrograde late on the Saturday, the 17th, giving us the chance to review the practical steps we need to take to bring the new directions forward. Mercury in Taurus relates to the ability to organize, to plan and to determine how best to move forward into our new directions.

April 18th through April 24th
This week, April 18th through April 24th, begins with the backdrop of Mercury retrograde already in place, giving us the opportunity to review ideas and options. We are pursuing our new directions, but there are many practical aspects that need to be brought into the equation. Sun moves into Taurus, joining Mercury on Tuesday, which shines the light on these practical issues. We can begin to see what needs to be done and we will begin to shift many situations from an ordinary perspective to put into a to-do list. We will have many thoughts come together on Wednesday that become the instigator of events and situations igniting into a new pathway. Friday we will see that many people that have had their thoughts become an instigator by lighting a fire underneath them, prompting them to be ready to jump into action as the week gets into a faster pace.

April 25th through May 1st
This week, April 25th through May 1st, we have Saturn retrograding in Virgo and Uranus moving through the last few degrees of Pisces. Saturn and Uranus reach a time frame of being in exact opposition on Monday. This ignites many issues of accountability as Saturn's focus is to bring responsible actions into place. Uranus allows freedom as the field of action and choices. As Uranus in Pisces has allowed a wide berth of actions to come into play during Uranus in Pisces, the freedoms are being narrowed through Saturn's scrutiny. Uranus in Pisces has allowed us to show our spiritual focus in the face of freedom. The use or mis-use of this freedom will begin to be shown as Saturn comes into exact opposition. The information that bubbles to the surface today will bring forward the need to revise and reform the field of freedom. This heightened scenario will come to our attention on Monday and will be heightened on Tuesday until the Full Moon rises. Tuesday evening and into Wednesday opens the visibility of issues that have been done while freedom was allowed. Not only is the Full Moon shining the light onto the previously hidden elements, but Sun connects with Mercury retrograde on Wednesday. The Sun becomes the spotlight that emphasizes the 8 Taurus and 8 Scorpio Full Moon. Taurus and Scorpio represent inner and outer balance. We begin to see all that is inside by the issues that are rising with the Full Moon. We will also look at the issues that are part of our own life during this time as well as those issues reflected in the outside world. We will shift our focus and attention to point our goals into new directions, especially as we view the accountability issues that are taking precedence. Saturday we move into the new month of May, emphasizing the surge of energy that sets us on the fast track to get involved in the implementation of our new business directions, our new activities and our pursuits. May is universally an EIGHT* month (*in numerology terms) and shifts our focus to look at our actions, directions and goals. With Mercury retrograde in force through May 11th, we will find that May steps up the pace and gets us moving into the directions needed.

May 2010 Overview
May is universally an EIGHT* month (in numerology* terms) and brings our focus to the outer world of business, activities and pursuits. We often feel pulled to deal with the events happening in the outside world during the EIGHT energy. The pace is activated, is quickened and has specific purpose, direction and results. The accomplishments for May will become visible as Mercury turns direct on May 11th, along with May 13th New Moon at 22 Taurus. We will see that our directions expand from 1 to all options encompassing 360 degrees.

The decisions for accountability and responsibility within the days of April become very visible during the actual events in May. Many options begin to open to us. The important aspect of Mercury trine Pluto on May 3rd will begin to bring in the invitations and the opportunities. We will look at the information that is coming into the situations and begin to make important determinations. By the time Mercury turns direct on May 11th, we will have made a 180 in the course correction that we had been on. The New Moon on May 13th activates this new 180 path and prompts us to move forward with our convictions and with our determinations.

May 19th brings the Mercury trine Pluto options available on May 3rd (yet Mercury still retrograde) and brings these options to us again, this time Mercury moving forward and ready to blast through any remaining obstacles. We take the powerful determination into transition, with Gemini opening the information gate even further by the 21st.

Sunday May 23rd, we are greeted by Jupiter opposition Saturn, with the last two degrees of Virgo and Pisces once again creating the need to put new disciplines, structures and processes into place that will allow us to build a bridge from the old to the new. This new bridge becomes the pathway that ultimately takes us into the Full Moon AND into a whole new era, signalled by Uranus moving into Aries.
The Full Moon brings a high tide of events within the Gemini/Sagittarius sectors, which emphasizes speaking our true philosophy. This prompts us to move forward by taking the new bridge into our new direction. This also calls into play being at the right place at the right time. Uranus moves into fiery Aries and begins a SEVEN-year orbit of Uranus through Aries Uranus brings in new generation of thought, events, and requirements. As May 27th hosts the Full Moon and hosts Uranus moving into a new generation, we will find ourselves at our true and rightful place as we begin this new era.

The month of May brings two more significant aspects the last two days of the month. Saturn turns direct at 27 Virgo, providing the very stepping stones that will take us forward according to the accountability aspect. As the response to being accountable is assessed, we will be moved forward into the new Uranus in Aries scenarios. Neptune turns retrograde on Monday, May 31st, opening up our spiritual blue print to line up our inner and outer journey. These two aspects become key factors in moving us into our right direction for this Uranus in Aries era.
