Chakra Balancing

Visualize your chakras and check to see if they are open or closed. You can use a pendulum and dowse the energy, it will do the same thing if you can't visualize or sense the chakras. You will notice the spin of the pendulum spinning at different speeds when chakras are open or closed. Fast spinning usually indicates an open chakra but you can specifically ask "Does the fast spin means an open chakra" and see what answer you get, "yes" or "no".

Chakras when they are open are bright and may feel hot with energy and spinning at a fast pace. When chakras are closed they may feel cold with not much energy and a slower spin and not much light to them.

You may feel tingling with the palm of your hand when a chakra is open, not all chakras give out the same amount of energy so you may feel varying energy which may indicate an imbalance.

Exercise in Opening and Closing your Chakras:

Sit comfortably in chair, closing your eyes. See yourself in a bubble protecting your energy.

Take your attention to the base of your spine. See a whirling vortex of energy and picture a pair of shutters closing over the spot, shutting out the light. Practice opening and closing the shutters a few times. (You can sense when the chakra opens and closes)

Bring your attention the sacral chakra below your navel and picture this chakra full of light, then close the shutters. Open and close the chakra till it becomes automatic.

Move then to your solar plexus and do the same as above (picture the chakra open and closing).

Next move on to the heart chakra, open and close it too.

Move on to the throat and then brow chakra doing the same exercise.

Once done the chakras you can practice running your mind up and down your spine to assess the state of your chakras.

Practice also sensing the ground underneath your feet and the earth chakra (short distance below your feet). Feel or see if this is open and practice opening and closing. Make sure your earth chakra is open and working well.

Breath deeply when done and come back fully present in your body.

When cleansing the chakras you can check the colour and spin, if the colour is murky you can picture light entering the chakra to cleanse it, see the light spinning around till the chakra is once again bright and spinning as it should. You can complete this exercise by opening the earth chakra and closing the spine and head chakras.

When done breath deep and connect with the earth, feel fully present in your body.
