Grounding Your Energy

Stand with your feet firmly on the floor and take your attention down to your feet. Close your eyes.

A short distance below your feet, there is an earth chakra which looks like a large open flower. Try to sense whether this chakra is open or closed. (If its not open , then open it before going on)

Picture a root or grounding cord growing from the bottom of each of your feet. It passes into the center of the flower where the two strands unite. The root then goes deep down into the earth. It is flexible and allows you to move around but holds you firmly in incarnation.

This root reaches right into the molten center of the earth and allows you to draw energy up the root through the soles of your feet and on up your body where you can store it just below your navel. Spend a few minutes breathing into that part of your body and allowing the energy to move up the root and through your lower body to that spot below the navel-which may feel hot and energized.
